Whistles factory seconds

I’ve made the best discovery. Oxfam has an online shop that sells loads of Whistles clothes, shoes, bags etc. It looks to me like Whistles offers Oxfam its factory second goods that are in perfectly good condition but have the labels cut out. The prices are GREAT. At the moment, there’s a leather jacket from last season on there for £150, 100 per cent cashmere sweaters and cardies for the £40 mark, boots and shoes for about £50. And it is totally guilt free, shopping for charidee. Visit Oxfam.org

Under £Eight: Bourjois cotton-wool free nail varnish remover
At £4.99 this nail varnish remover is probably not as cheap as a normal bottle of the stuff, but it is worth it. SO worth it. You save a bit by not having buy masses of cotton wool, which I seemed to eat through trying to get off stubborn varnish before I discovered this.
While I dispute Bourjois’ claim that it only takes 1 second to take your varnish off, you can dip your finger in and wiggle it round to get rid of every bit of colour within 3 or 4 seconds I reckon. The stuff stinks, but if you’re rushing out of the door in the morning and realise your nails are chipped up, this is a saviour. No mess, no smudgy grotty cotton wool pads to pick off the floor, and it seems to last ages, too.
